We provide practical training on the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002, including empowering staff to become competent COSHH Assessors or providing staff with sufficient training to ensure that understand their responsibilities relating to COSHH.
COSHH covers substances that are hazardous to health. Substances can take many forms and include:
- Products containing chemicals
- Gases and asphyxiating gases and
- Biological agents (germs). If the packaging has any of the hazard symbols then it is classed as a hazardous substance.
- Germs that cause diseases such as leptospirosis or legionnaires disease and germs used in laboratories.
It can be apparent in many different industries and professions, we wish to provide training of the highest calibre and ensure that those we train are equally competent to work within environments that have exposure to COSHH requirements.
